Parthian (Persian) Glazed Jar with Lion-Head Handles.

Dated to 238 BC - 226 AD.

Height: 13 cm

This Parthian Glazed jar has two lion-head handles, as well as six decorative knobs around the neck. The jar has a globular body, flat base, and a cylindrical neck with a simple straight vertical rim. This piece has undergone a minor repair, the bottom part of the base is restored.

Overall good condition.
